AURORA RESORT
PROJECT BY DINA GAWISH
To create a successful and comforting experience that can produce remarkable memories, one must design to satisfy different people's needs. Despite the fact that comfort means different things to different people, a few fundamental comfort elements apply to everyone. The Aurora resort focuses on both the physical and psychological comfort of guests. The resort's design considers sound and light control, appropriate colours, appropriate temperatures, and comfortable and natural materials to achieve physical comfort.
In terms of psychological comfort, it was achieved by considering the following in the interior spaces; incorporating natural elements, maximizing natural lighting, creating a mixture of public and private spaces, creating an effective wayfinding system, considering human scale, and as a final step, considering accessibility for all.
The project aimed to provide psychological and physical comfort along with satisfying all senses. From designing everything to calm and please anyone's eyes to the aromas that will trigger the guests' noses to relax. The resort is an integral project that will fulfill everyone's desires and make them feel welcomed and taken care of in every aspect. Therefore, it will create a memorable experience that they will never forget.
